Reconfiguring of a Detached House in Barton, Cambridge

The design involved removing parts of the rear of the existing house and replacing with a contemporary open plan glazed extension at ground floor, and timber dormers at first floor.

Winner of the RIBA East of England Spirit of Ingenuity Award 2008 for Homes under £250,000. The judges commented that this was an "Interesting and consistent remodelling, handled with flair."
