Drummer's Studio, Dry Drayton, Cambridge

A garden studio built in the rear garden of a detached house backing on to fields in Dry Drayton. The space is mainly used as a practice room for drumming.

The single storey building is clad in pale grey and copper coloured corrugated fibre cement sheeting, with timber / metal composite windows and a vaulted ceiling internally. Wall, window and roof constructions incorporate acoustic sound reduction and attenuating techniques. Heating is provided via a freestanding wood burning stove.
