A garden extension to a Victorian semi-detached house in the de Freville area of Cambridge. The design involved moving the kitchen into the original dining room to create a large south-facing living and dining area with wide glazed doors opening onto the garden. Oak is used extensively in the sliding-folding doors, windows, kitchen rooflight, flooring and cabinets, uniting and bringing warmth to the bright interior.
The project included further refurbishment of the original house, to create an ensuite shower room and dressing area for the master bedroom.
